WHY WE STARTED.

I never thought I'd become a 'branding guy' — but here I am.

It started when I founded WeFlex, a passion project eleven years in the making. For me it was more than a business; it was a mission, a movement and a love letter to my family. I wanted a great brand so I invested in one straight away.

Working with creatives and strategists I learned that branding isn't about fonts and colours. It's about message, vision and what you stand for. And then something cool happened - our clients bought into it too. They were asking to buy branded merch and proud to be associated with us. It became their brand as well.

Upon leaving, we were generating over 400 leads a month with a waitlist in the hundreds. Rare numbers in this industry. So is investment in branding. Go figure.

I left knowing one thing - the disability sector deserves better branding. So I started DISBRANDED. But on the journey I realised not every organisation needs an agency. Sometimes they just need someone to show them how. That's why I also created the DISBRANDED courses. Three of them, built specifically for this sector, by someone who has lived it. No jargon. No agency markup. Just everything I know, so you can do it yourself - and be proud of what you build.

Your brand isn't a logo. It's the reason someone chooses you over the provider down the road. Every visual decision, every word, every touchpoint is either building trust or losing it.

02. NO INSPIRATION BAIT.

Hands. Hearts. Sunsets. Stock smiles. We know the playbook and we're done with it. Disability brands deserve to be bold, distinctive and real - not a feelings-reel designed to make non-disabled people feel good.

The sector has a branding problem and nobody wants to say it. We do. Honest, direct and occasionally uncomfortable - because that's the only way anything actually changes.
