we're a creative agency for the disability sector
why we started
I never thought I’d become a ‘branding guy’, in fact I was probably the least likely of my professional network to bang this drum – but here I am!
It started when I founded my first company WeFlex, a passion project I had been dreaming about for 11 years. For me it was more than a business; it was a mission, a movement and in some ways a love letter to my family. I wanted a great brand because I was looking to raise investment so I made an investment in it straight away.
I worked with great creatives and strategists and I learnt that it wasn’t about fonts and colours. It was about the message, the vision and what we stood for. It made my brother and I proud of the business and the movement we were hoping to create and then something really cool happened.
Our clients bought in to our message, before we knew it they were asking to buy branded merch (not many providers can brag about THAT!) and were proud to be clients of ours. It became their brand as well. This is where I saw the impact that meaningful branding can have not just on a business, but on broader society.
Upon leaving, we were generating over 400 leads a month and had a waitlist in the hundreds. These numbers are rare in the industry, so is investment in branding. Go figure.
